Editing Work
My editing experience has not only contributed to my editing skills, but it has also elevated my writing and rhetorical abilities. Having collaborated on several editing projects across a variety of genres including resumes and cover letters, academic journals, and ePortfolios, I feel that I have acquired the necessary communication and and technical skills to effectively edit a variety of genres. I have a continued interest in editing and translating information, academic journals, scientific, medical, and other technical documents.

Editorial Values Statement
My Editorial Values Statement outlines who I am as an editor and a writer. It includes the kind of editor I want to be when I grow up and the editing work I would be interested in pursuing such as translating and editing texts in different languages to bridge communication gaps, particularly in research.

ASA Style Guide: UV's Eugenics: Florida Suggested Edits
I edited a web page made by the sociology department at the University of Vermont. The main webpage, Eugenics: Compulsory Sterilization in 50 American States, covers the eugenics movement and sterilization laws enacted in all 50 states. I chose to edit Florida's page using the ASA style guide. I tracked all changes within.
